Last Senior Theater Festival show The Skriker strikes tonight

Senior Theatre Festival will conclude this weekend with Caryl Churchill’s The Skriker, tonight at 7:30 p.m. and tomorrow at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Prepare for a unique trip into Celtic mythology and what happens when people no longer believe in creatures of folklore. The Skriker tells the tale of a shapeshifting fairy who is barely surviving in the underworld because the humans above have stopped telling her story. Reviewing the Tacoma Opera, and a look at next season

The Tacoma Opera finished its 2013-14 season last weekend with great triumph. After a fantastic three shows this year—Pirates of Penzance, Barber of Seville and Madama Butterfly—the company is thrilled for next season, featuring The Magic Flute, The Mikado and Romeo et Juliette.
