Three games, two walk-off’s

Logger baseball walked away with a win in their three-game series against Whitman. The Puget Sound baseball team played three games against Whitman College at home on March 28-29 and finished with a series victory when the Loggers won two of the three games.   Both winning games were ended by walk-off home runs, the first hit by sophomore Troy Kakugawa (Mililani, Hawaii) and the second by junior Nathan Backes (Seattle, Wash.). Last night’s Underground Sound performance

The voice of one of Puget Sound’s very own a cappella groups, Underground Sound, brought a free concert to the student body in Kilworth Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. The students prepared for this performance for the entire semester while under the instruction of sophomores Lisa Hawkins and Daniel Wolfert, co-directors of the group.
