Katie Vold shoots high for women’s basketball

  With the 2014-2015 Logger women’s basketball season now making headway, first year Katie Vold (Spokane, Wash.) is ready to take on the challenges of playing collegiate ball. Golf team continue success, taking first place

As the men’s golf team kicked off its season with high hopes and strong spirit, their tournaments have reflected their efforts and perseverance. After an impressive showing at the PLU invitational, the Loggers went spearheading for the following tournament, the Puget Sound Invitational. The women’s soccer team is well on their way to a conference title after securing a win against George Fox University on Sunday Oct. 27. Backpacks of Hope gears up to serve

“I founded Backpacks of Hope last August (2012) because I wanted to help get Puget Sound students involved in fighting childhood hunger in Tacoma,” said President and Founder Jasmine Kaneshiro.  Backpacks of Hope is a volunteer program on campus that helps students get involved with feeding hungry kids in the Tacoma and Clover Park School District.
