Tennis seniors have committed themselves to Puget Sound’s team for four years, prevailing through the seasons. Their optimism, perseverance, strength and leadership have led the team to victory, even through tough matches. Though the men’s tennis team has faced adversity this season, they have continued to approach each match with positivity and excitement. A deep look into the career of track star Josh Seekatz

Josh Seekatz (Philomath, Ore.) dominates long distance track and  field in the spring and cross country in the fall. Running track events like the 1500-meter race, the steeplechase and the five kilometer race, Seekatz understands on a fundamentally deep level the focus, determination and will-power it takes to race at a college level, at an intense athletic level. Commencing his track and field and cross country running careers in seventh grade, Seekatz had previously  only competed on swimming and soccer teams. Golf team continue success, taking first place

As the men’s golf team kicked off its season with high hopes and strong spirit, their tournaments have reflected their efforts and perseverance. After an impressive showing at the PLU invitational, the Loggers went spearheading for the following tournament, the Puget Sound Invitational. Loggers wrap up another successful winter season

Dominating in each of their individual conferences, the swimming and basketball teams proved their strength against opponents in conference championships and in the progression of each respective season. As both the swimming and basketball seasons are incredibly long, lasting six months and more including pre-season training, the men and women’s teams have shown their determination and commitment to their sport, be it in the water or on the court.
