Perks of Being a Wallflower full of satisfying moments and characters

From the highly acclaimed novel by Stephen Chbosky, comes a movie that celebrates the highs and lows of an underdog named Charlie. In this movie, the director reveres the joys and experiences of finding friends you wish you had met much earlier in your lives. Figure drawing class encourages participation from artists of all experience and backgrounds

The Art department hosted a three-hour open figure drawing class in Kittredge Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 24. The class featured Odie De Blume as the model. Overlooking The Sound: “UT Radio”

This Week: Ubiquitous They Radio with Jeff, Robin and Friends Sunday at 5 p.m. Head honchos Jeff and Robin bring you a show unlike any other on KUPS. Ubiquitous They Radio is a talk show, a comedic improvisation show, and an old-fashioned radio drama. UT started in the 1980s as a radio show. The current show is a tribute to the past and a plea for the future of UT to also involve...

Overlooking The Sound: KUPS’s “The Blues With Lillian”

This Week: The Blues with Lillian Thursday at 8 a.m. Lillian still uses CDs as opposed to scratch records or ScratchLive, a computer program. That is the only real negative element to be said about “The Blues.” She simply has not received the memo that electronically playing your songs over the airwaves, or at least spinning records, boosts up your cool factor. Lucky for Lillian’s listeners, you cannot tell from listening that she still plays old-school, un-cool Compact Discs. Lillian’s show is a hit-after-hit hour of songs that blend together...

The five-day festival boasts live entertainment, cooking displays, impressive decorations, a resident Santa and over 600 merchant booths. This year’s show was the 30th anniversary and spanned the days between Oct. 17 and 21. The atmosphere of the Holiday Food and Gift...
