The Varsity Women’s Soccer team improved to 13-1 Saturday Oct. 23. Their eighth consecutive win was earned with the Logger’s 1-0 victory over the Lewis and Clarke Pioneers. The women’s volleyball team improved to 7-1 in Northwest Conference play with their sweep of PLU and Pacific (Ore.) on Wednesday and Saturday nights, respectively.  They are off to their best start in conference play since 2001 and remain tied for first after this past week’s victories. Tensions ran high on Saturday Oct. 2 as Puget Sounded hosted cross town rivals the Pacific Lutheran Lutes. The Loggers battled for victory and although the game ended in a loss, it is one for the record books. The stadium was at capacity. The women’s soccer team spent this past weekend traveling to Spokane and Walla Walla, Wash. to continue Northwest Conference Play.  Sadly, the Loggers suffered their first loss at the hands of Whitworth Saturday Sept 25.
