Women’s tennis defends home court, men have tough go over the weekend

The Loggers faced its cross town rivals Pacific Lutheran March 23 after Spring Break. The Loggers, who are 3-8 in conference, looked to take the wins from Pacific Lutheran (2-6) who sits close to them in Northwest Conference standings. New coaches, same success rate for Puget Sound crew program

At 4:00a.m. the majority of campus life is sleeping or just turning in after pulling an all nighter. On American Lake however, dedicated athletes are beginning their day with a practice at sunrise. The Puget Sound crew team wakes before dawn each day and drives 30 minutes to be on the water by 5 o’clock each morning. Golf teams swing into spring season with Logger Invitational

Last week marked the spring season opener for the Logger golf teams.  The two day event ended with the women placing second and the men placing third out of five teams. The first day of the Logger Invite ended with the women trailing 27 strokes behind Northern Idaho. The men were ranked third of five after the first round.
