For students who want to participate in community service activities, Circle K is one of many options available to them. On Tuesday afternoon in Trimble Forum, Bill Porter gave a lecture called “The Quest for and Cultivation of Solitude by Chinese Hermit Practitioners of Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism.” Porter is the author of the book Road to Heaven: Encounter with Chinese Hermits.
