Volleyball stays hot, stretches winning streak to 10 games

The Puget Sound volleyball team kept their impressive winning streak alive this past weekend at home, defeating the Linfield Wildcats on Friday and the Willamette Bearcats on Saturday. Not only did the two wins extend the team’s streak to 10 straight, but both came with ease as the Loggers swept both matches three sets to none. Football can’t keep up with Wildcats

The Homecoming Weekend festivities were spoiled on Saturday by the Linfield Wildcats. The Loggers suffered a 55-14 loss on the gridiron at the hands of the Wildcats, falling to 1-4 on the season and 1-2 in Northwest Conference play. Linfield posted an astonishing 591 total yards of offense, including 330 yards on the ground. Cross country on right track

The Chuck Bowles Invite this past weekend in Salem, Ore. proved to be a very successful outing for both the Logger men and women on the cross country course. The Puget Sound men took 19th overall in the invite, with an average time of 26:59.03. The men finished ahead of three Northwest Conference rivals at the large race, upending Pacific Lutheran, Pacific University, and George Fox who took 20th, 21st, and 22nd respectively. Women’s soccer off to fast start as Northwest Conference play opens
